On February 18, 2011, SDDC-PP and USTranscom/JPMO authorized the use of Commercial Portable Movement and Storage Containers and Commercial Best Practices for the movement of military personal property within CONUS. SDDC is now soliciting rates for this Code II service.
On your military Code II bookings, Moveamerica provides an approved Commercial Portable Movement and Storage Container at your dock or the service member's residence, and (2) transport the loaded container to your dock or your customer's residence at destination after inbound clearance. After unloading, we will pickup the empty containers. We are also available to load and unload, pack or unpack containers, and store outbound and inbound traffic.
This would enable you to book profitable Code II traffic without worrying about how to obtain, inventory, or store costly containers, or how to ship those containers at the lowest possible cost to you. Moveamerica regularly canvasses over 12,000 carriers by computer to determine the lowest costs in a given lane.

You may select any or all of the above services as you desire, thus freeing up your containers and equipment to handle other traffic while still profiting on the move. For instance, if you would like to pack, load, and have Moveamerica ship in your own Code II containers, we will do so and deliver to your destination agent. Or, we can provide the containers, load and transport them to destination, store as necessary, deliver to your customer, and unload. In this scenario you would provide booking and preliminary packing services.
