What is our Moving Vault™ Service?
If are interested in storing your shipment for more than a short period either at origin or destination, our Premium Moving Vault™ Option might be the right choice for you. Our Moving Vaults™ are what are known as Personal Portable Movement and Storage Containers and you can see a picture of them at the bottom of the page.
Sometimes referred to as "p" something or other, these containers are based upon typical military wooden 196 cube military shipping containers, except they are bigger, sturdier, waterproof, and come fully equipped with moving pads and a locking door. The containers we provide are made of extemely strong High Density Polyethylene, a recyclable polymer, and aluminum, are 350 cubic feet in exterior volume and 262 cubic feet in interior volume. The external dimensions are 90 inches long x 76 inches wide x 88 inches high.
Our Moving Vaults™ containers are waterproof, individually lockable, and very durable. This virtually eliminates claims due to tampering, theft, or shrinkage. They can be used either for storage or for shipment. Moveamerica™ provides you each container already equipped with 10 moving pads.
Moveamerica™ can also profesionally pack, load, and unload your shipment in this option.
