Our family moving company began in 1905 when moving vans were pulled by horses. But even though the technology was primitive, our business goals have not changed: make our customers happy by making their move as stress free and manageable as possible. Over the years we have moved tens of thousands of families, including Presidents Eisenhower, JFK, and Nixon along with General Douglas MacArthur.
Recently however, we decided that to keep on providing the best value to our customers we would have to change the way that we did business. So we pioneered the idea that we call the MoveAmerica U-LoadTM concept. It was designed to let you save money by loading your possessions yourself. Having it secured so it is safe, and then having us share your trailer with commercial cargo and have it driven to your new location by a professional driver.
Our concept works because it provides an affordable solution that offers many more benefits to our customers. It is much cheaper, and it is much more convenient than having you assume the responsibility and expense of renting a moving truck on your own. Our process is also much safer and more reliable because from end-to-end your possessions are handled and protected by the skills and facilities of a professional moving company.
