MoveAmerica provides the following services for you:
Security Divider Self Moving - We bring a 28 foot long trailer on wheels to your home, where you load (or have someone else load) the trailer. Our charges are based on the number of lineal feet (the length of the trailer floor) that you use. The driver erects a security divider bulkhead wall behind your shipment, and professionals drive it to your new home where an agreed delivery date is arranged. Upon delivery, the driver removes the security divider wall and you unload your shipment. Moveamerica will then pickup the empty trailer and your move is complete. This is normally your lowest cost and quickest moving option.
MoveAmerica Optional Moving Vault Service - If you need storage or professional loaders, this might be the right moving option for you. We arrange to bring out roomy Personal Shipment and Storage Containers , also called Moving Vaults (ssssh - don't even whisper the word PODS®), to your residence for your move and leave them. After loading, either by yourself or professionals arranged by Moveamerica, we pickup and ship the Moving Vaults to your destination, where they are delivered on the day you prefer. If you have arranged unloading service, the Moving Vaults are unloaded and your furniture placed in your new home.
Preliminary packing - Moveamerica will arrange for professional packers to pack your books, clothes, dishes, and other small items into cartons to protect them from the stresses of moving. They will also bring a full range of cartons to your home. Or, you can do the preliminary packing yourself.
Loading and unloading - Moveamerica can arrange professionals to load or unload both our 28 foot trailers or our optional moving vaults. If our professional loaders do the work, there is nothing to buy and nothing to do but show the pros what you want loaded. Wrapping and padding of furniture is included.
MOVING VAULTS
Loading and unloading free time - you are allowed 3 business days plus any included weekend days to load and unload moving trailers FREE OF CHARGE. Moving Vaults may be kept up to 28 days FREE OF CHARGE.
Ramps - 28 foot trailers come equipped with foldable ramps FREE OF CHARGE.
Moving blankets - 10 moving blankets for each Moving Vault are provided FREE OF CHARGE with the Moving Vault Option service.
Insurance - $10,000 worth of Named Peril Insurance is provided FREE OF CHARGE for each Moving Vault.
Storage - Your first 28 days of use of the Moving Vaults and/or storage of the Moving Vaults is ABSOLUTELY FREE. After your first 28 days of FREE STORAGE, Moveamerica's local agent will store your Moving Vaults at the low rate of $3.00 per container per day until you would like delivery arranged.
Extra insurance - if our pros load your trailer or Moving Vaults, you can obtain additional Named Peril or All-Risk insurance at any time prior to your move. Call us to discuss your options. In the Moving Vault option, an additional $10,000 of all-risk insurance coverage is provided, subject to a $400 deductible at no extra cost.
