Question? What exactly is MoveAmerica delivering for me to load my household goods shipment?

Answer: Moveamerica delivers one or more individualized Moving Vaults, sometimes known as Personal Moving and Storage Shipping Containers for you to load. These are 90 inches high, 88 inches wide, and 67 inches deep, with an exterior dimension of about 350 cubic feet and interior dimensions of 262 cubic feet. They come on a flatbed and are unloaded and placed where you like on your driveway or yard. The Moving Vaults are waterproof, lockable, and very strong.

Question? Does MoveAmerica deliver directly to my door?

Answer: Yes, MoveAmerica delivers to your door on both ends of your move at no extra cost.

Question? What are my loading options? Moveamerica leaves the Moving Vaults at your home or apartment for up to 28 days FREE OF CHARGE for you to load. Also, we will store your containers at our facility for up to 28 days, again, FREE OF CHARGE. Two options are available: (1) You load the Moving Vaults; and (2) Our professionals load the vaults and perform any other packing you need done.

Question? What days of the week will MoveAmerica pickup and deliver my Moving Vault. Answer: MoveAmerica will pickup and deliver Moving Vaults on business days, i.e., during the week. Please ask your MoveAmerica representative for details.

Question: Can I request an AM or PM dropoff of my Moving Vaults. Answer: Yes

Question? Who do I call after my Moving Vaults are loaded? Answer: Call MoveAmerica's office at 1-877-239-9763 and we will have the Moving Vaults picked up and started on their way to your new home.

Question? What equipment comes with the Moving Vault? Answer: 10 quilted moving pads are in each Moving Vault for your use.

Question? How long does it take for me to get my shipment? Answer: On an average, your Moving Vault will move about 400 miles each business day after pickup from your residence, and will be available for delivery by appointment with you after arrival at the destination terminal.

Question? What about insurance coverage? Answer: If you load yourself, each Moving Vault comes with a $10,000 named peril insurance policy AT NO CHARGE against loss caused by collision, overturn, or upset of the transporting vehicle. If our professionals load the truck you will also get an additional $10,000 insurance policy PER CONTAINER against loss or damage due to improper loading or handling subject to a $400.00 deductible, again ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE.

Question? Who will be driving the truck moving my shipment? Answer: MoveAmerica partners with very large commercial trucking companies, such as UPS Freight, who employ professional drivers and operate professionally maintained equipment to move your shipment.

Question? What are my storage options? Answer: Moveamerica will arrange storage for your moving vaults on either end of your move for up to 28days ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE. The daily charge after the initial free 28 day period is $3.00 per vault per day.

Question? If I am in the military using MoveAmerica for my PPM, will MoveAmerica provide me with certified weight tickets? Answer: Yes, MoveAmerica will provide both light and heavy weight tickets that the T.O. needs to reimburse you for your personally procured or DITY move.

Question? Where does MoveAmerica provide service? Answer: As long as you are moving over 50 miles MoveAmerica can provide services nationwide to major metropolitan areas. If we cannot service a particular origin or destination, we will advise you appropriately. Please ask your MoveAmerica representative for service availability if you are off the beaten path.

Question? Is it possible for me to track my shipment throughout my move? Answer: Yes, you can track its progress on the web or call a MoveAmerica customer service representative who will track it for you.

Question? Do I have to wrap, blanket, box, and protect my shipment. Answer: Absolutely, protection of your goods is your responsibility unless you have requested our professional loaders to load your shipment. Each moving vault comes equipped with 10 moving pads for your use FREE OF CHARGE.

Question? Where can I obtain packing materials, cartons, and tape. Answer: Materials can be ordered directly from Moveamerica's web site or obtained from our local agent.

Question? Are there any hidden charges in my quote? Answer: No. Your quote is all inclusive and there are no hidden charges. Included are the Moving Vault(s), pu and delivery of the vaults, transportation to your new home, driver, gas and oil, fuel surcharge, use of the moving pads, FREE 28 days storage on either end, and $10,000 insurance on each moving vault also provided FREE OF CHARGE.

What happens when I arrive in my destination city? Answer: Call MoveAmerica and let us know you have arrived. If your shipment is there, we will coordinate your delivery with the destination folks.
