Your Transportation Office determines your authorization, reimbursement rules, allowable weight and required documentation. Your actual financial result depends on the amount authorized by the military and the actual cost of your move.

MoveAmerica customers do not normally pay monthly storage simply because transportation equipment has been delivered for loading.
If your destination residence is not ready when the shipment arrives, storage-in-transit can be arranged on qualifying shipments when actually needed.

A Military PPM is different from an ordinary household move. Certified weight documentation is required for reimbursement. MoveAmerica therefore uses transportation arrangements for its Military PPM program where the required certified light and heavy weight documentation can be obtained.
The empty/light weight establishes the unloaded equipment weight. The loaded/heavy weight establishes the weight after your household goods are loaded. The difference is used to document the shipment weight for your PPM claim.
