Security Divider Self-Moving
We bring a 28-foot enclosed trailer (or larger if needed) on wheels to your home. You load the trailer yourself with help from friends or relatives, or MoveAmerica can arrange third-party professional loading and unloading help.
The trailers are fully enclosed, approximately 8 feet wide and 9 feet high, giving you more capacity than many rental trucks for the same length of floor space.
Once your shipment is loaded, the driver installs a security divider wall behind your shipment. Your goods remain separated from any commercial cargo that may be loaded behind the divider.
How the Service Works
1. Trailer Delivered
MoveAmerica arranges delivery of a secure enclosed trailer to your origin address.
2. You Load
You load your shipment, or MoveAmerica can help arrange third-party professional loaders.
3. Divider Installed
A security divider bulkhead is placed behind your shipment to separate your goods.
4. We Drive
Professional drivers transport the trailer to your destination area.
5. Delivery Arranged
An agreed delivery date is scheduled at destination.
6. You Unload
The divider is removed, you unload your shipment, and MoveAmerica picks up the empty trailer.

Loading and Unloading Help
MoveAmerica can arrange third-party professional loading and unloading services at origin, destination, or both ends of your move.
If third-party professional loaders perform the work, you simply show the crew what you want loaded or unloaded. Wrapping and padding of furniture may be included, but preliminary packing is not included unless separately arranged.
Free Loading and Unloading Time
Customers are generally allowed several business days, including weekends, to load and unload Security Divider Trailers free of charge.
Same-day trailer drop and pickup may also be available. On some moves, the driver may be able to wait briefly while loading is completed.
Additional Services and Equipment
Ramps
Security Divider Trailers are equipped with ramps free of charge.
Two-Wheel Dollies
Two-wheel dollies are provided free of charge with each trailer on most routes. They are not intended for refrigerators or heavy appliances.
Moving Blankets
Moving blankets may be ordered and delivered directly to your door within several days of your order.
Packing Materials
MoveAmerica can provide high-quality packing materials delivered to your door.

Storage Options
If short-term storage is needed, MoveAmerica can arrange storage at destination until you are ready for delivery. For longer term storage your shipment will be unloaded and secured in a household goods storage facility.
Security Divider Trailers may be stored on a daily or monthly basis after free time expires at destination.
Insurance and Carrier Liability
Carrier liability coverage is included. Additional named-peril or other insurance options may be available depending on the move, shipment type, and requested valuation.
